The world’s largest coffee roasting competition is expanding further by introducing several new geographic regions to allow more coffee roasters to compete. As of 2024, a Golden Bean competition will be held in these regions:
- Australasia (Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, and Southeast Asia: Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam)
- The Americas (United States/Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America)
- East Asia (China, Hong Kong, Macao, Chinese Taiwan, Japan, Korea)
Any contestants who win at least one silver or gold medal in their regional Golden Bean competition will be eligible to compete in the Golden Bean World Series held 17th-20th February 2025 in Antigua, Guatemala.
The Golden Bean East Asia 2024 will be held in China in the second half of November. The registration platform will be opened in August 2024. Please stay tuned for further announcements.
