Become Overall Champ!

To become the Overall Golden Bean Champion, and take home the Golden Bean Trophy, roasters need to enter a coffee into three categories:

Category 1: Espresso

Category 2: Milk-Based

Category 3: Filter

Winners of categories 4, 5, 6, & 7 are awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, but scores do not contribute to Overall Champion.

To be eligible to win Overall Large or Small Franchise Champion you must enter commercially available coffee in the following categories:

Category 8 & 9 (Large Chain Store / Franchise)

Category 10 & 11 (Small Chain Store / Franchise)

*Large is defined by 20+ and Small is 3-20

Steps to sending in your coffee entry

1. Send one plain bag of coffee per entry: 1 x (500g) sample for judging for each of the categories you are entering.

2. You can enter a maximum of 6 coffee entries per category per roaster. 6 entries will get you a FREE VIP attendance ticket.

3. Write the corresponding category number on your bag.

4. Print ‘packing slip’ for each coffee and STAPLE to each entered bag (this will be removed prior to the event).

5. DO NOT write your business name on the coffee bags.

6. Coffee must be delivered BETWEEN Tuesday 1st October and cut off is Friday 5pm 11th October 2024.
